A veterinary clinic in Santander is seeking to hire a person for the position of veterinary assistant. Responsibilities include assisting and restraining animals during consultations, supporting surgical operations by preparing patients and instruments, and assisting during surgeries. The candidate will also be responsible for maintaining, cleaning, and sterilizing medical and surgical equipment. For this position, candidates must hold official certification as a veterinary clinic assistant or veterinary technical assistant. A native-level or C2 proficiency in Spanish is required; knowledge of English is valued. Additionally, holding a Class B driving license is considered an advantage to facilitate travel. We are looking for a person with a genuine vocation for animal welfare, strong communication skills with clients, ability to work effectively in a team, organizational skills, and strict adherence to hygiene and disinfection protocols.
