Description
Job Summary:
We are seeking a UX/UI Consultant to participate in research and design projects—from initial analysis through to final design—with a human-centered and business-oriented approach.
Key Highlights:
1. Participate in end-to-end research and UX/UI design projects.
2. Design high-fidelity navigation flows and visual interfaces.
3. Contribute to the quality, accessibility, and clarity of deliverables.
Ibertech is looking for a **UX/UI Consultant** for one of our leading clients.
**Location:** Office in Bilbao
**Work Modality:** Fully remote (100%) from Spain.
**Language Requirement:** B1 English proficiency is valued.
**What will you do on a day-to-day basis?**
• Participate in UX/UI research and design projects—from initial analysis through to final interface design ready for development.
• Engage with key client-side stakeholders (e.g., product owners, IT teams, and other strategic roles) to understand their vision, needs, and business objectives.
• Investigate the real needs of people who actually use the service—analyzing the digital solution, its usage context, and opportunities for improvement.
• Design navigation flows, information architecture, interactive wireframes, and high-fidelity visual interfaces—guided by human-centered principles, business orientation, and aesthetic judgment.
• Facilitate workshops and co-creation sessions with strategic insight.
• Build and maintain design systems: components, tokens, style guides—everything that ensures product consistency and scalability. Ensure smooth, clear, precise, and frictionless handoff to development.
• Apply the most suitable UX techniques for each project: interviews, surveys, usability testing with real users, heuristic evaluations, benchmarking, card sorting, brainstorming, A/B testing, etc.
• Participate in service design, blueprint creation, or experience mapping.
• Produce clear, well-structured, and decision-oriented deliverables.
• Share your knowledge: internal workshops, training sessions, presentations, etc.
• Above all: ensure the quality, accessibility, and clarity of everything we deliver.
**Requirements:**
• University degree (Bachelor’s, Licentiate, or officially recognized equivalent qualification within the Spanish university system).
• At least 5 years of professional experience in UX, with proven autonomy.
• Conduct research thoughtfully—select appropriate methods and interpret underlying insights from data.
• Go beyond diagnosis—you propose solutions that deliver impact and added value.
• Strong command of information architecture, interaction design, accessibility, and visual interface design. You can confidently transition from wireframes to refined, well-grounded UIs.
• True mastery of **Figma**: components, variants, auto layout, prototyping—not just using it, but maximizing its potential.
• Experience working with digital content and improving its structure and copywriting.
• Familiarity with WCAG 2\.1/2\.2 accessibility guidelines—and practical ability to apply them meaningfully.
• Strong communication skills, teamwork, adaptability, and collaborative contribution.
• Experience working with public-sector institutions or large organizations—and understanding what that entails.
• UX and/or UI certifications validating your specialization.
• Thoughtful adoption of artificial intelligence: you use AI daily (to generate assets, write prompts, explore ideas, etc.), but also exercise sound judgment to determine when it adds value to a UX/UI project—and when it does not.
**What else do we value?**
• Accessibility-related certifications.
• Familiarity with HTML, CSS, or JavaScript—even if you won’t be writing code.
• Knowledge of SEO and how content intersects with user experience.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English when needed.
• Experience working in agile environments.
