We are looking for personnel to work as a warehouse assistant in Oviedo, in a role requiring forklift operation. Main responsibilities focus on preparing orders for shipment, ensuring each item is correctly picked, packed, and labeled. Goods received from suppliers will also be unloaded, and delivery notes verified to confirm quantities and product condition. Once received, goods must be safely organized and stored, optimizing space usage and facilitating easy retrieval. Another core responsibility is loading delivery vehicles, coordinating departures, and ensuring all items are properly secured for transport. Occasional support may be required for local customer deliveries. Safe forklift operation is essential for moving pallets and heavy materials. Maintaining order and cleanliness in the work area is an ongoing task to ensure a safe environment. This position requires attention to detail and a methodical approach, as it directly contributes to the efficient flow of materials in daily operations. This is a temporary part-time contract, ideal for candidates seeking a dynamic and organized role in the logistics sector. A minimum of one year’s experience in warehouse, logistics, or order-picking roles is required. A valid Class B driving license and personal vehicle are mandatory, as well as a forklift operator certificate compliant with the current UNE standard.
