Job Summary: We are seeking an Occupational Therapist for a Special Education Center to assess, design, and implement individualized programs and coordinate with a multidisciplinary team. Coordination with healthcare, educational, and social professionals DESCRIPTION **NON-PROFIT ASSOCIATION** seeks an **OCCUPATIONAL THERAPIST** for its **SPECIAL EDUCATION CENTER** located in **RIBEIRA**. **WE OFFER**: * A **STABLE** position. * Initial salary according to the AGREEMENT FOR THE THIRD SECTOR. **€21,892.12 gross/year.** * Full-time schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00–18:00 (1-hour lunch break). * **FREE CAFETERIA.** **RESPONSIBILITIES:** * Assessment of sensorimotor, cognitive, and functional development in children aged 0–6 years. * Design and implementation of individualized intervention programs to promote autonomy in activities of daily living (ADLs). * Intervention in sensory integration, fine and gross psychomotor skills, eye-hand coordination, etc. * Guidance for families to support generalization of learning in the child’s natural environment. * Preparation of evaluation and follow-up reports, and participation in technical meetings of the multidisciplinary team. * Coordination with healthcare, educational, and social professionals to ensure comprehensive and coherent intervention. REQUIREMENTS * Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in **OCCUPATIONAL THERAPY**. * Postgraduate studies or additional training in **CHILD DEVELOPMENT AND EARLY INTERVENTION** are desirable. * Prior experience of **1 YEAR** as an occupational therapist; experience in early intervention is preferred. * Residence in Ribeira or surrounding areas.
