Job Summary: We are seeking an industrial maintenance technician to ensure the proper operation of machinery by performing preventive and corrective maintenance tasks in industrial environments. Key Responsibilities: 1. Preventive and corrective maintenance of industrial machinery 2. Troubleshooting and repair of plasma/oxy-fuel/machining cutting machines 3. Management of low- and medium-voltage installations The role involves performing preventive and corrective maintenance on machinery in industrial environments in Avilés. The primary function is to ensure equipment always operates correctly by inspecting each system to detect faults before they escalate into major issues. You will work directly with mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic components to guarantee uninterrupted production. Daily tasks include managing low- and medium-voltage installations, as well as repairing or replacing worn parts in pneumatic and hydraulic systems. Lighting and auxiliary plant elements are also maintained, with documentation kept for every repair performed. This is a full-time position. Candidates must be capable of troubleshooting and repairing plasma cutting, oxy-fuel cutting, or machining center equipment. Technical vocational training (Intermediate or Advanced Level) is required. A minimum of three years’ prior work experience in industrial maintenance is mandatory. Completion of an aerial work platform training course, an electrical risk training course, and a 60-hour Occupational Risk Prevention (ORP) training course are essential.
