




DESCRIPTION The selected candidate will join as a **FHIR/HL7 Functional Analyst – PMO** in a healthcare sector project, participating in the design, evolution, and support of **clinical information systems** for hospital and primary care settings. Their primary mission will be to **gather and analyze functional requirements**, translate user (clinical and business) needs into detailed specifications, and coordinate the correct implementation of solutions with development and integration technical teams. Additionally, they will be responsible for **modeling and overseeing integrations between departmental applications** using healthcare interoperability standards (**HL7, CDA, FHIR**), collaborating on **project planning and monitoring** from the PMO (managing timelines, risks, milestones, and reporting), and supporting functional testing and end-user validation phases—ensuring that deployed systems meet functional, quality, and continuity-of-care requirements. REQUIREMENTS **Experience in Information Systems Development** * Minimum **5 years as a Functional Analyst**. **Healthcare Environment** * Demonstrable experience with **clinical information systems** in hospitals and/or primary care. * Knowledge of **departmental applications** (e.g., laboratory, radiology, emergency departments, inpatient care, appointment scheduling, Electronic Health Records) and their **integrations**. **Healthcare Interoperability** * **Training in HL7 CDA or FHIR or equivalent** (courses, certifications, or solid professional experience with these standards). * Experience in functional analysis of **interfaces and integrations** (HL7 messaging, FHIR resources, etc.). **Project Management / PMO** * **Project management certification**: PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent. * Experience in project planning, monitoring, and reporting (schedules, risks, milestones, deliverables). **Academic Qualifications** * University degree in **Computer Science or related field**. * Academic level **MECES 2 or higher** (Bachelor’s, Engineering, or Master’s degree). **Location and Availability** * Willingness to work in **Madrid**, with **2–3 days per week on-site** (remainder remote). ### **Recommended / Preferred Technical Requirements** * Preferably experienced in **Hospital Care** (HIS, clinical modules, EHR); additional experience in **Primary Care** is desirable. * Prior experience in **interoperability projects** among clinical systems (HIS, LIS, RIS, PACS, pharmacy, etc.) using HL7/FHIR. * Familiarity with **integration architectures** (ESB, integration buses, healthcare interoperability engines). * Regular use of **project management tools** (Jira, MS Project, Confluence, etc.) in multi-team environments. * Experience working with **Public Administrations / Regional Health Services**. * Strong ability in **functional documentation** (use cases, diagrams, interface specifications, test plans).
