At Deloitte Technology, we are undergoing an expansion of our AI Factory, whose objective is to design, build, and deploy robust and scalable solutions that drive the digital transformation of our clients and the Firm itself. We are seeking a Backend Developer with experience in building solid and efficient software architectures to join our team. You will be a key contributor to developing business logic, services, and APIs supporting our GenAI applications. What is the challenge? You will participate in the full software development lifecycle—from design through deployment—of GenAI use cases. You will be part of a multinational team, collaborating with Frontend, DevOps, and business professionals. You will design, develop, and maintain server-side applications primarily using Python and Java, ensuring robust integration and optimal performance. You will create and manage RESTful APIs to facilitate communication between backend services and client applications. You will work with containerization technologies such as Docker for creating and deploying applications in consistent environments. You will collaborate on automating continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD) processes using tools such as GitHub Actions or Azure DevOps. You will manage source code and development workflows using GitHub. How do we envision you? Technically, you will be a strong fit if you meet the following requirements: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Engineering or related fields. Proficiency in Python for scripting or developing complementary microservices. Experience designing, developing, and consuming RESTful APIs. Experience using Docker for platform containerization. Advanced spoken and written English proficiency to collaborate effectively in a multinational environment. An organized, versatile, and analytical individual capable of managing tasks and finding solutions. Strong teamwork skills and commitment to shared objectives. What additional qualifications do we value? Experience deploying solutions in cloud environments, preferably Azure. Knowledge of CI/CD practices and automation tools. Experience working with SQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL). Basic understanding of generative AI concepts (agents, MCPs, etc.). Demonstrable knowledge of React to facilitate collaboration with the development team. Technical certifications in Java or cloud platforms such as Azure. Strong communication, organizational, and teamwork abilities, combined with initiative and common sense to autonomously solve problems.
