**Description:** ---------------- We are collaborating with a renowned hotel chain seeking to hire an **MEP Engineer** to monitor and technically verify construction work carried out by its contractors across various establishments nationwide. Your mission will be to act as the technical reference for the property, ensuring that mechanical, electrical, and plumbing installations are executed in accordance with the hotel group’s standards, approved project documentation, and current regulations. Key responsibilities: * Supervise daily/weekly progress of assigned construction works, ensuring contractors adhere to the scheduled timeline. * Verify correct execution of MEP installations according to drawings, technical specifications, and applicable regulations. * Identify deviations, propose solutions, and manage corrective actions with contracting companies. * Conduct quality controls and issue periodic reports to the property. * Coordinate technical meetings with contractors, architectural/engineering supervisors, and internal hotel teams. * Review technical documentation: drawings, layout plans, certifications, and associated budgets. * Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety regulations on site (coordination with occupational health and safety officers). * Validate proper receipt and installation of materials. * Prepare monitoring reports, incident logs, and construction status updates. * Ensure technical decisions remain consistent with the hotel chain’s standards. **Requirements:** --------------- * Technical education: Technical or Higher Engineering degree, Technical Architecture degree, or equivalent; preferably specialized in building services. * Minimum 3–4 years’ experience in MEP construction supervision or site management. * Experience in hotel or large tertiary building installations (highly desirable). * Solid knowledge of HVAC, electrical systems, plumbing, sanitation, and fire protection systems. * Proficiency in interpreting drawings, quantity take-offs, and layout plans. * Advanced proficiency in computer tools: AutoCAD, Office (Excel), MS Project, or other scheduling software. * Basic knowledge of occupational health and safety regulations applicable to construction sites. * Willingness to travel frequently to construction sites throughout Spain. * Residence in Mallorca (mandatory). * Valid Spanish driving license (Class B). * Organized, autonomous individual with excellent communication skills and ability to liaise effectively with multiple stakeholders.
