Ferrum Management Services AG provides services to the Ferrum Group (Ferrum Packaging AG and Ferrum Process Systems AG) in the areas of IT, Finance, and HR. **Global IT Operations Expert (m/f/d)** As a central operational expert, you are responsible for the global administration, continuous development, and service delivery of the Google Cloud environment and the enterprise-wide cybersecurity solution. **Your Responsibilities** * Central responsibility for IT operations, configuration, and continuous development of the entire Google Workspace environment (governance, security, feature rollout) across the Group (DE, PL, CH, and future smaller sales subsidiaries worldwide) * Management of the Google Cloud Platform (GCP) environment, including support for utilized cloud services and assurance of smooth operations at global scale. Ability to identify opportunities for projects migrating to Google Cloud * Coordination of technical deployment of assigned IT services (GW, GCP, Cybersecurity) to newly onboarded smaller sales subsidiaries worldwide * Driving initiatives for transformation from local (on\-prem) environments to Google Cloud * Operational responsibility for protection and availability of our data and systems, particularly in the area of Cybersecurity * Operational administration, configuration, and monitoring of security products (e.g., firewalls, endpoint protection) across all locations * Conducting vulnerability assessments and remediation of security incidents within the scope of cybersecurity systems * Management, monitoring, and optimization of enterprise-wide backup strategies across all relevant Group systems * Ensuring compliance with security and regulatory standards in the operational business of assigned systems * Acting as the operational interface to the business as the subject-matter technical expert for Google Workspace, GCP, and Cybersecurity topics **Your Qualifications** * Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or equivalent qualification * Extensive experience with Google Cloud architecture * Strong analytical skills and a structured, solution-oriented work style * Communicative, team-oriented, and capable of working independently * High quality awareness and service orientation * Availability to coordinate global initiatives and undertake occasional business travel * Fluent English is required due to the global environment; German language knowledge is an advantage **What We Offer** * Interesting and varied tasks offering ample space for autonomy * An international family-owned company that places great emphasis on an open corporate culture, flat hierarchies, and strong team spirit * Possibility for remote work * Find more details here: Ferrum as an employer Join the Ferrum family and submit your application documents to Nicole Furrer (HR Business Partner).
