Doping Control Officer
**Become a Doping Control Officer!** IDTM is seeking individuals who wish to work as Doping Control Officers (DCOs). DCOs are responsible for organizing an anti-doping mission, traveling to testing locations, collecting urine/blood samples, documenting the sample collection process, and shipping the samples to a WADA-accredited or approved laboratory. The basic requirements are a minimum age of 21 years, ability to travel, and a general interest in sports. The DCO must speak and write fluently in both Spanish and English. A DCO must be: a problem-solver, capable of handling stress, reliable, accurate, and possess leadership skills—i.e., courteous and friendly, yet assertive. **Being a certified blood collector/phlebotomist is considered an advantage.** No prior knowledge or experience in anti-doping controls is required, but willingness to learn new skills is essential. Candidates must be willing to complete theoretical and practical training courses to become an internationally certified DCO. This training will be provided free of charge by IDTM. The DCO position is a full-time role based on a contract. The DCO must be available to travel early in the morning and late at night, including overnight travel to other locations.
