From P\&PD Engineering (ATS Global), we are selecting an experienced Site Manager / Assembly Director Engineer for a long-term industrial project in France, focused on the assembly of steel plants and industrial furnaces, within an engineering company headquartered in Bilbao. This is an excellent opportunity for senior professionals seeking to develop their careers on large-scale projects involving field presence, construction management, and leadership of multidisciplinary teams. Main responsibilities include: * Lead and supervise all on-site assembly activities. * Manage in-house work teams and subcontractors, coordinating resources, milestones, and priorities. * Ensure compliance with schedules, quality standards, and safety regulations. * Monitor site progress, report incidents, and propose technical solutions. * Guarantee accurate interpretation of drawings, specifications, and technical documentation. * Maintain daily communication with clients, suppliers, and internal teams. * Ensure proper planning and logistics of fieldwork. * Proven experience in assembling steel plants or large-scale industrial plants. * Senior profile with knowledge of industrial furnaces and hands-on technical field experience. * Ability to simultaneously manage site operations and personnel. * Fluent English (project working language); French is an advantage due to the location. * Willingness to reside in France for the duration of the project. * Expatriate contract: Join a ~3-year industrial project with real potential for continuation. * Accommodation, company vehicle, and allowances provided. * Career growth and subsequent reassignments to new projects or offices.
