Delivery Driver / Warehouse Assistant

Description

We are looking to incorporate a **Delivery Driver / Warehouse Assistant** with experience in transportation, delivery, and warehouse management into our team. The selected candidate will be responsible for both **goods delivery and collection**, as well as various tasks related to receiving, organizing, preparing, and dispatching orders in the warehouse. Requirements * Valid driver's license. * Minimum **2 years of experience** in similar positions. * Good driving record. * Knowledge of local and/or national routes. * Responsible driving and compliance with safety regulations. * Ability to work in an organized manner and as part of a team. * Availability to work **full-time**. Main responsibilities **Transportation and delivery** * Transporting, collecting, and delivering goods. * Reviewing documentation corresponding to each delivery. * Recording and tracking completed deliveries. * Adhering to assigned routes, scheduled times, and safety regulations. * Checking the condition and proper loading of goods before commencing transport. **Goods receipt** * Assisting with unloading trucks and containers. * Receiving and verifying incoming goods. * Inspecting product condition to identify possible damage, breakage, moisture, or other incidents. * Labeling and moving goods to the appropriate storage area. **Warehouse organization and control** * Placing and organizing products on shelves and designated areas. * Maintaining order and cleanliness of facilities. * Assisting with warehouse reorganization when necessary. * Counting and controlling units and inventory. * Applying established stock rotation criteria. **Order preparation and dispatch** * Preparing orders (picking) according to corresponding instructions. * Verifying quantities and references. * Properly packaging and preparing products. * Reporting shortages, discrepancies, or identified incidents. * Preparing, loading, and dispatching goods destined for customers or suppliers. * Final verification of orders prior to dispatch. **Tools, safety, and other responsibilities** * Operating basic warehouse equipment such as manual pallet jacks, cargo carts, and label printers. * Reporting any incidents related to goods, equipment, or facilities. * Complying with internal procedures and occupational health and safety regulations. * Accurately recording entry and exit times, as well as corresponding breaks. * Basic care and maintenance of facilities, tools, and equipment. * Proper handling of fragile or special products where applicable. * Supporting other logistics-related tasks associated with the position when necessary.
