Permanent contract with a growing company offering a hybrid work model An engineering firm specializing in industrial automation and control systems, based in Barcelona, is seeking a Digitalization Engineer. RESPONSIBILITIES * Develop applications based on Ignition, AVEVA MES, and AVEVA PI. * Conduct integration testing, commissioning, and documentation. * Adapt and customize tools by programming databases using SQL or programming languages (Python), tailoring them to client requirements when necessary. * Continuously learn about new tools and technologies. * Hold a degree in Electronic, Automatic, and/or Computer Engineering and/or an equivalent higher vocational qualification. * Possess solid database knowledge (preferably SQL Server). * Have knowledge of object-oriented programming: C\+\+, C\#, Java, .Net, and/or Python. * Experience with SCADA or HMI systems is highly valued. * Experience with AVEVA/Wonderware, OSISoft PI, and/or Ignition solutions is highly valued. * Demonstrate intermediate-level English proficiency. * We seek proactive, solution-oriented professionals capable of teamwork, initiative, and organization. * Permanent contract with a company in full expansion. * Split working hours from Monday to Thursday and intensive Friday. * Hybrid work model. * Compensation package commensurate with experience and expertise provided.
