MAINTENANCE OPERATOR (WELDER)

Summary: SAVOSA is seeking a welder for industrial machinery maintenance, performing precision welding and ensuring quality. Highlights: 1. Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on industrial machinery. 2. Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic failures. 3. Apply quality and safety measures in welding. Serveis Ambientals del Vallès Oriental, S.A., hereinafter SAVOSA, requires initiating a selection process to fill a welder position assigned to the Maintenance Department of the Treatment Area. • Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance on industrial machinery and installations. • Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic failures. • Assemble, adjust, and commission machinery and production lines. • Prepare and condition metallic surfaces for welding. • Interpret drawings, sketches, and technical instructions. • Select the appropriate welding procedure (MIG/MAG, TIG, electrode arc, oxyacetylene, etc.). • Adjust and regulate welding machine parameters according to material and work requirements. • Perform precise joining, repairs, and assembly of metallic parts. • Verify weld quality using visual inspection or specific testing methods. • Cut, polish, and prepare parts using manual and electric tools. • Apply quality and safety measures in welding and correctly use personal protective equipment (PPE). • Maintain welding tools and equipment in good working condition. • Collaborate in assembling metal structures and installations. * 3 years’ experience. a) Three years’ experience in industrial environments carrying out maintenance and repair tasks related to welding techniques (TIG, MIG/MAG, electrode arc, oxyacetylene) and use of cutting and finishing tools (angle grinder, saw, milling machine, bending machine, etc.). b) Experience and/or knowledge in reading and interpreting technical drawings and schematics (on paper and in digital format). c) Experience and/or knowledge in using measuring tools (welding gauges, calipers, compasses, tape measures, etc.). d) Experience and knowledge in using a CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System). * Vocational Training Qualification (FPII) or Higher Vocational Training Certificate (CFGS) in Welding and Boiler Making, Mechanical Manufacturing * Catalan (spoken: advanced, written: advanced) * Spanish (spoken: advanced, written: advanced) * Own vehicle required * Driving license: B * Permanent employment contract * Full-time work schedule * Other relevant information: Gross annual salary: 29\.605,72 €
