Optimize the hotel's energy and water consumption At Garden Hotel Group, we are looking to hire a **2nd Technical Maintenance Manager** for the Technical Services Department of the HYB Eurocalas Hotel. Their **mission** is to ensure the optimal condition of the hotel’s assets and facilities in order to deliver the highest quality of customer service, by complying with company regulations and current legislation regarding environmental protection, health and safety, occupational risk prevention, facility and equipment maintenance, and any other applicable regulations. What will be their **responsibilities**? * Together with the Head of SSTT, responsible for preventive and conservation maintenance activities for the building, facilities, equipment, and machinery in general. * Appropriately allocate maintenance tasks to ensure smooth operation of the operations team and overall building preservation. * Continuously inspect the status and proper functioning of high- and low-voltage electrical systems. * Monitor the proper functioning of various equipment as well as building preservation and maintenance across different areas. * Conduct periodic inspections of various hotel areas to identify anomalies or defects in maintenance. * Contribute to hotel profitability by implementing corporate actions and policies that optimize energy and water consumption. * Prepare daily reports on energy consumption readings to monitor and ensure appropriate usage and performance of facilities. * Control and supervise proper use of equipment and tools to extend their service life. * Participate in maintenance warehouse inventories to verify correct operation. What are the **requirements** for this position? * Minimum education: Vocational training related to maintenance. * Experience in a similar role (minimum 2 years in a hotel of comparable category). * Experience in electronics: data systems, circuits, and wiring. * Industrial equipment maintenance. * Familiarity with hotel machinery. * Basic to intermediate knowledge in electricity, air conditioning, heating and domestic hot water (DHW), industrial refrigeration, hospitality equipment, plumbing, carpentry, audio systems, networks, etc. * Intermediate knowledge of office software.
