Ona Hotels \& Apartments is a company specialized in the management and operation of holiday resorts. Currently, the company has a portfolio of 42 accommodations, most of which are located in Spain's main tourist destinations. We are experiencing significant growth and expansion! That is why we are looking for a ''WAITER/WAITRESS'' to join the ONA team in the northern part of the island! What would be your responsibilities? · Serve breakfast. · Set up and dismantle the buffet, as well as provide support in maintenance and restocking. · Customer service. · Table service during meal hours. · Clean and organize the restaurant and office areas. · Assist the maitre d' with tasks related to food service. · Take customer orders. · Verify that customers meet the legal minimum age for alcohol consumption. · Ensure customers are enjoying their meals and take action to resolve any issues or incidents. · Answer questions about menu items, making recommendations upon request. · Explain, upon customer request, how menu dishes are prepared, including ingredients used. · Recommend beverages to customers. · Inform customers about daily specials. · Clean tables after customers have finished eating. · Prepare hot and cold beverages. · Be responsible for setting up and/or dismantling the dining room and/or other areas. · Follow waste recycling procedures. What do we require from you? \- Minimum qualification: Intermediate degree in Hospitality and Tourism or ESO (secondary education), with relevant experience valued. \- Minimum of 1 year of experience. \- Knowledge of cash register management. \- You must be able to adapt your schedule to the establishment’s varying needs during high and low occupancy periods (fairs, conferences, Holy Week, holidays, etc.), as well as customer demands (we will notify you as early as possible). \- Rotating shift work and rotating days off. \- Due to our regular guests, we require at least an intermediate level of English (able to communicate and serve customers effectively within restaurant-related conversation).
