Barista – 25 h/week \| Sanfran Coffee – Oviedo At **Sanfran Coffee**, we are looking to hire a **barista** for our team at **La Chucha, Oviedo**. We seek someone with prior experience in hospitality and coffee, accustomed to working under **high customer volume and at a fast pace**, while always maintaining product quality and excellent customer service. For us, **attitude is even more important than experience**. We are looking for someone eager to learn, full of energy and initiative, who treats people well and fits seamlessly into our team. What are we looking for? * Prior experience in **hospitality and/or coffee**. * Experience preparing coffee and operating espresso machines is a plus. * Agility and ability to perform well during peak-volume periods. * Positive attitude, initiative, and eagerness to learn. * Good interpersonal skills with customers and colleagues. * A responsible and organized individual. * Availability to work **both weekdays and weekends**. * Prior experience as a barista or in specialty coffee is valued. What do we offer? * **25 hours per week**. * Shifts distributed across **3\-4 days per week**, according to the schedule. * **Salary according to the Asturias Hospitality Collective Agreement: approx. €12,400 gross/year for 25 weekly hours**. * Possibility to **increase working hours starting in September**. * A great work environment and a close-knit team. * Training and opportunities to continue learning about coffee. * A dynamic workplace where we strive for excellence without compromising a positive atmosphere. Selection process As part of the selection process, shortlisted candidates will complete a **2-hour practical trial working alongside our barista**, allowing us to get to know each other, observe how we collaborate, and assess adaptability to the café’s pace. The trial is **paid at €10/hour (€20 total)**.
