As a Junior QA Engineer, you will be responsible for creating, executing, and maintaining test cases that validate software conformance to defined acceptance criteria, design documentation, and application standards. Manual functional test execution is required, and knowledge/experience in automated testing is also desirable. The Junior QA Engineer will be working closely with Business Analysts and Development Teams across a range of projects, ensuring that the quality assurance and control processes are adhered to and will demonstrate desire, enthusiasm and commitment to learning our current QA processes. **What you will be doing:** * Creating, maintaining and executing manual test scripts to perform functional testing; * Reviewing and revising acceptance criteria for accuracy, clarity and completeness; * Working closely with the Senior QA Engineer / QA Lead to provide estimates for QA tasks; * Assisting with automated test development; * Identifying and reporting defects and issues that arise during testing. * Reporting testing progress to the Senior QA Engineer / project team. **Requirements** * Degree in Computer Science, Applied Math or other related degree or equivalent experience. * 1\+ year of experience in software quality assurance; * Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal,Knowledge of testing methodologies / approaches, techniques and quality assurance principles; * Able to demonstrate analytical and problem\-solving skills, considering negative and edge case scenarios as well as positive scenarios; * Able to follow instruction / guidelines as well as to suggest improvements to existing processes; * The ability to understand end user requirements; * Confidence to question if / when requirements or designated tasks are ambiguous / unclear.Positive and proactive attitude with the ability to efficiently manage own time; * Aptitude to improve / develop technical and non\-technical testing skills and High attention to detail and methodical approach to test preparation and execution A pioneer in voluntary collective licensing, CCC is a leading information solutions provider to organizations around the world.
