Intress needs to hire a **Social Worker** to cover a temporary position at the Shelter Service for Victims of Gender-Based Violence in **Palma**. WE OFFER: * **Start date**: From 16/07/2026 * **End date of contract**: 14/03/2027, covering a 9-month leave of absence. * **Monthly gross salary**: €1877.46 x 14 payments (CIS Collective Agreement) * **Weekly working hours**: 38h * **Working schedule**: Monday 8:00–15:00, Tuesday 8:00–17:30, Wednesday 8:00–15:00, Thursday 8:00–15:30, Friday 8:00–15:00 RESPONSIBILITIES: * **Provide support**, tailored to each woman’s needs and available resources, across personal, employment, housing, legal, health, economic, and social environment domains. * **Participate in developing and subsequently evaluating the Individual Action Plan (PAI)**, assisting the service user in setting her own goals. * **Accompany women**, both in accessing public and private resources and emotionally throughout the entire process, to help them achieve their goals. * **Assess** each woman’s situation, other social issues—whether related or unrelated to gender-based violence—and her personal, family, and social resources. * **Respond immediately** to urgent demands and crisis situations, to reduce emotional and psychological impact. * **Coordinate with external services and resources**. * **Prepare necessary reports and assessments** for referrals to specialized services. * **Strengthen the strengths and resources** of service users and their children, where applicable. * **Collaborate in team decision-making** regarding guidelines to follow in the accommodation process for residents. **Required Academic Qualification:** * Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Social Work. **Required Professional Experience:** * Minimum 1 year of experience in fields related to disability and/or dependency, as well as with victims of gender-based violence. **Other Desirable Qualifications:** * Specific training on gender-based violence. * Experience working in multidisciplinary teams.
