The selected candidate will be responsible for comprehensive management of the hotel's wine cellar, creating and updating the wine list, and providing personalized recommendations to our guests in collaboration with the dining room and kitchen teams. OBJECTIVES The main objective of the Sommelier is to enhance the guest’s gastronomic experience through careful wine selection, presentation, and pairing, conveying the essence of Mallorcan terroir and the hotel’s culinary philosophy. Their mission will be to turn every service into a sensory journey, reinforcing the identity of Grand Hotel Son Net as a benchmark for authenticity and excellence in Mediterranean hospitality. MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES: \- Selection, management, and stock control of wines and beverages. \- Creation and updating of the wine list. \- Professional customer advice during service. \- Ongoing wine and pairing training for the dining room team. \- Organization of wine tastings and oenological experiences for guests. \- Close collaboration with Executive Chefs on pairing design. \- Maintenance of quality standards and presentation aligned with the hotel’s philosophy. ### **Requirements** \- Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Sommelier in hotels or restaurants of similar category. \- Specific education in Oenology or Sommelier certification (WSET, Court of Master Sommeliers, etc.). \- In-depth knowledge of Spanish and international wines. \- High proficiency in Spanish and English (additional languages will be valued). \- Exceptional communication skills and attention to detail. \- Passion for gastronomy and luxury hospitality. ### **We Offer** \- Opportunity to join a 5-star \- Luxury establishment within a unique natural setting in the Tramuntana Mountains. \- Permanent discontinuous full-time contract. \- Competitive conditions commensurate with experience and qualifications. \- Professional development opportunities within one of the island’s most prestigious establishments. \- Accommodation option available for candidates from outside the island (to be confirmed during the selection process)
