We are seeking a collaborative individual to manage innovation challenges and coordinate the collaborative development of digital solutions based on data technologies. The selected candidate will drive an innovative event focused on launching a challenge wherein diverse teams develop digital tools with a social purpose, supported by mentoring and guidance from the solution-recipient organization. At Iniciativa Barcelona Open Data, we work to build a knowledge hub for open data. Job Description The selected candidate will be responsible for preparing and coordinating all phases of the challenge: defining the rules and call for participation, designing the participation framework, and developing dissemination materials; ensuring coherence of the digital infrastructure and access to data in coordination with technical teams; and developing the communication plan—including crafting key messages, identifying target audiences, and supervising the content team. They will also design the methodological dynamics of the challenge, including the challenge structure, working sessions, mentoring activities, and organization of the final event day. Responsibilities / Tasks Preparation of the rules and call for participation. Design of the participation framework, drafting of the call text, and support for its publication (website, social media, and printed materials). Definition of the digital infrastructure and data access, in technical coordination with the responsible teams (data architecture, permissions, tools, and documentation). Development of the communication plan: message creation, definition of target audiences, production or supervision of visual materials, and coordination with communications teams—establishing criteria and monitoring the content team. Design of the challenge dynamics: creation of the methodological script, challenge structure, planning of working sessions and mentoring activities, and organization of D-Day (final presentation).
