ISGlobal (Barcelona Institute for Global Health) is a leading institute addressing global public health challenges through research, translation into public policy, and education. ISGlobal maintains a broad portfolio covering both communicable and non-communicable diseases, including environmental and climatic determinants, and applies a multidisciplinary scientific approach spanning from the molecular to the population level. Research is organized into five programs: Climate, Air Pollution, Nature and Urban Health; Environment and Health Across the Life Course; Global Viral and Bacterial Infections; Malaria and Neglected Parasitic Diseases; and Maternal, Child and Reproductive Health. ISGlobal holds the Severo Ochoa accreditation, a seal of excellence awarded by the Spanish Ministry of Science.
### **WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR**
We are seeking a candidate for a temporary contract to cover vacation leave, whose primary responsibility will be to ensure proper management of material resources and the smooth operational functioning of the institution. Two vacancies are available: Clinic Campus (C/ Rosselló, 132, Barcelona) and Mar Campus (PRBB Building, Barcelona).
### **MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES**
* Management of workspaces and meeting rooms, coordinated with area managers.
* Facility supervision: safety, maintenance, construction works, and renovations.
* Management of the IT equipment fleet (computers, printers, servers) and usage protocols and backup procedures.
* General administrative support: registration and archiving of physical and electronic correspondence, management of petty cash and justification of minor expenses.
* Ensuring proper operation of the telephone switchboard and internal messaging system.
* Travel coordination and expense reimbursements.

### **EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE / QUALIFICATIONS**
* Relevant experience in an equivalent role.
* Intermediate or higher-level education in a field relevant to the demands of the position.

* English (intermediate level), Spanish, and Catalan.

* Contract: Temporary (40 hours per week)
* Salary: €23.582
* Work-life balance: 36 days off per year (23 vacation days + 13 personal days)
* Start date: Late July to early September
* 100% on-site work (Clinic Campus: Carrer del Rosselló 132 / Mar Campus: Av. Aiguader 88)

### **SELECTION PROCESS**
The selection process consists of two phases:
1\- Technical interview with the team requiring the hire, to assess competencies and the candidate’s CV.
2\- Meeting with Human Resources with finalist(s) to finalize the profile assessment and discuss contractual and institutional matters.
If necessary, a technical test may be administered. For structural or transversal positions, the Psychological Competency Assessment is mandatory.
In accordance with the OTM-R principles, a gender-balanced selection committee is established for each vacancy at the start of the process. After reviewing applications, the committee initiates interviews, which include at least one technical and one administrative interview. During the process, a competency profiling questionnaire and/or a technical test may be requested.
