**Description:** ---------------- Mercaconsult collaborates with an accounting firm specialized in providing solutions in the areas of accounting, labor, administrative, and real estate services for both individuals and companies. We are seeking a candidate capable of managing all accounting, financial, and tax-related needs of the assigned client portfolio, in collaboration with the rest of the department. **What will you do on a daily basis?** * Request necessary documentation from clients. * Carry out the accounting process for the client portfolio (e.g., customer invoices, supplier invoices, bank transactions, etc.). * Prepare accounting reports (general ledger, journal entries, balance sheet, P&L, fixed assets, etc.). * File tax obligations (VAT, Personal Income Tax, Form 349, and Form 347). * File Corporate Income Tax and Personal Income Tax returns. * Submit mandatory accounting books and annual financial statements. **What do we offer?** * Permanent contract * Full-time position * Working hours: Monday to Thursday: 9:30 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m. – 6:30 p.m. Friday: 9:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. On two Fridays per month, working hours are 9:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. (The remaining hours needed to reach the weekly 40-hour total will be made up during tax-filing season). * Possibility to work remotely two days per week. **Requirements:** --------------- Candidate profile we seek: * Minimum vocational qualification (CFGM) in Administration (a higher vocational qualification—CFGS—in Administration and Finance or equivalent studies is desirable). * Minimum 3 years’ experience performing the duties described above, preferably within an accounting firm or a multi-client company. * Advanced technical knowledge of general accounting. * Familiarity with A3REN. * Proficiency in the SAGE accounting software or similar. * Proficient user-level knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)
