#### **Technical Specialist Audio / Technical Manager Audio (H/F)** **Location:** Paris, France (Relocation support available) **Languages:** French or English mandatory **Contract type:** Permanent contract (CDI) **Remuneration:** **€39,000 to €45,000** gross per year (depending on profile) ### **About the position** As a Technical Manager, you play a key role in the success of our events. You supervise technical implementation on-site, lead teams, and ensure top-tier client experience within demanding event and hospitality environments. ### **Your main responsibilities** #### **1\. Operations & Equipment Management** * **Operational excellence:** Ensure smooth event execution by guaranteeing precise and rapid installation, operation, and dismantling of state-of-the-art audiovisual equipment. * **Troubleshooting:** Immediately diagnose and resolve any technical failures on-site. * **Safety & Compliance:** Strictly adhere to company safety standards. Report any risks to the HSE manager, line manager, or Project Manager. * **Equipment protection:** Ensure equipment security against theft and damage during operations. #### **2\. Client Service & Relationship Management** * **Service quality:** Deliver premium service and consistently strive to exceed expectations of both internal and external clients. * **Communication:** Maintain professional, trustworthy, and fluid relationships with all stakeholders. * **Team spirit:** Collaborate closely with internal teams before and during events to maximize client satisfaction. * **Partnership liaison:** Understand and leverage synergies among the venue (hotel/site), our teams, and the client. #### **3\. Event Supervision & On-Site Leadership** * Lead preparation, execution, and post-event debriefs for complex events alongside operational teams. * Supervise and direct technicians on-site during service delivery. #### **4\. Team Development** * **Mentoring:** Support, train, and upskill members of technical, commercial, and operational teams. * **Talent development:** Foster an environment conducive to learning and leadership development. #### **5\. Maintenance & Logistics** * Participate in equipment preparation, storage, transportation, and maintenance. * Conduct regular inventories and anticipate equipment needs for upcoming events. ### **Candidate profile** #### **Qualifications & Experience** * **Education:** Bachelor's degree (Bac+3) or equivalent in audiovisual studies or related field (preferred). * **Technical experience:** Minimum 4 years in a specialized audiovisual role. * **Service experience:** 3–5 years in hospitality or customer service (a strong advantage). * **Project management:** Proven experience managing multiple projects or initiatives simultaneously. * **Interpersonal skills:** Ability to communicate diplomatically and effectively with diverse stakeholders (clients, on-site teams, management). * **Languages:** **French or English mandatory** (written and spoken). #### **Key competencies** * **Technical & domain expertise:** Mastery of advanced audiovisual technologies, strong safety awareness, and operational rigor. * **Soft skills:** Hospitality mindset, responsiveness, professionalism, ability to manage complexity. * **Leadership:** Ability to inspire confidence, empower others, and develop talent. ### **Benefits & Bonuses** * Monthly meal allowance * Performance-based bonuses * Annual clothing/attire allowance * Seniority bonus * Employee recognition program #### **Note:** **The responsibilities and duties described above reflect the primary expectations for this position but are not exhaustive.
