As part of our positioning as a leading company in the defense sector, we aim to reinforce our team with several Senior Data Architecture profiles to expand our Barcelona team, covering various data specializations: governance, quality, and pipeline design in critical environments. What will you do on a daily basis? Define and evolve robust data architectures in critical environments, ensuring scalability, traceability, and security. Design end-to-end data pipelines, from ingestion to analytical exploitation, including batch and streaming processing. Establish data governance models, including metadata, catalog, lineage, and quality control. Define and implement data quality rules, validations, monitoring, and remediation mechanisms. Collaborate in defining logical and physical models, as well as data contracts and exchange rules. Ensure data integrity, consistency, and traceability in distributed, hybrid, or cloud architectures. Coordinate with development, data, architecture, security, and business teams to guarantee end-to-end coherence. Oversee the evolution of data platforms, promoting best practices, automation, and performance optimization. Participate in technical decisions and solution reviews within data lake, data warehouse, data mesh, or data fabric environments. Ensure compliance with data regulatory and security requirements (GDPR, NIS2, ENS, ISO 27001\). What are we looking for in you? Degree in Computer Science, Telecommunications, or related field. Solid experience as a Data Architect in complex and distributed environments. Advanced knowledge of data pipeline design, ETL/ELT, batch and streaming processing, and/or experience in data governance (metadata, cataloging, lineage, quality, and traceability). Experience in defining data quality models, validations, monitoring, and continuous improvement, or in modern data architectures such as data lake, data warehouse, data mesh, or data fabric. Knowledge of relational and non-relational databases. Experience in cloud, hybrid, and distributed environments. Knowledge of automation, CI/CD, and best practices in data engineering. **Valuable experience in data security:** IAM, encryption, access control, and auditing. Valuable experience in Big Data, artificial intelligence, and machine learning. High level of spoken and written English. Analytical profile with a cross-functional view of data, technical leadership, and ability to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
