GEROCULTOR/A (MC)

Summary: We are seeking a Geriatric Care Assistant / Gerocultor/a for a residential care facility to assist and care for users in their daily activities and support the interdisciplinary team. Highlights: 1. Personal assistance and care for elderly users. 2. Collaboration with the interdisciplinary team. 3. Tasks related to personal care and the user's environment. A Geriatric Care Assistant \- Gerocultor/a is required for a residential care facility for the elderly located in Cubelles. Preference will be given to candidates residing in the area or nearby. Candidates must hold a qualification as a Geriatric Care Assistant or Nurse, or a Professional Certification in this field. Assist and care for users in daily life activities they cannot perform independently, and carry out professional tasks aimed at their personal care and environment; support the interdisciplinary team during reception and onboarding of new users; perform duties inherent to the role and any other tasks assigned by the facility's management. * Experience: 6 months. Minimum 6 months’ experience, although not strictly mandatory. A recognized qualification is mandatory (Geriatric Care Assistant, Professional Certification, or Intermediate Vocational Training qualification in Nursing). * INTERMEDIATE VOCATIONAL TRAINING QUALIFICATION * Spanish (spoken: advanced, written: advanced) * Catalan (spoken: intermediate, written: intermediate) * Competencies / knowledge: Intermediate Vocational Training qualification in Nursing or equivalent, or Professional Certification * Permanent employment contract * Full-time position * Other relevant information: Extended-week / compressed-week schedule. Possibility of additional pay for Sundays and public holidays if worked.
