A better future? **Job Description** ------------------- Coordinate and supervise project execution, meeting deadlines, controlling costs and customer satisfaction, for assigned projects, following existing Lear procedures. **Responsibilities** -------------------- 1\. Receive the assigned project during its Mechanical Preliminary Design phase. Plan its execution, collaborating with Commercial Engineers. 2\. Coordinate the work of various departments involved in each project across all phases: Commercial Engineers, Mechanical Designers, Electrical Designers, Automation Programmers, Procurement, and Assembly. To do so, the Project Manager must possess in-depth knowledge of project nuances. 3\. Jointly with the Workshop Manager, assign and organize personnel (Workshop, Assembly, and Automation Programmers) participating in the project, considering its specific characteristics and optimal cost-efficiency. 4\. Supervise mechanical, electrical, and automation designs for projects requiring such oversight. 5\. Supervise machine assembly in the workshop, resolving questions and addressing any issues that arise. 6\. Identify external suppliers, when necessary, for subcontracting electrical assembly at the customer’s facility. 7\. Monitor machine installation at the customer’s plant, supervising adherence to schedules and quality standards. 8\. Perform economic control of the project. 9\. Review and monitor work reports submitted by assemblers involved in supervised projects, authorizing overtime during the on-site assembly phase at the customer’s facility. 10\. Serve as the liaison between the customer and the Company, both during project development and regarding any requested modifications or revisions to the original project scope. 11\. Supervise maintenance of machines under warranty that fall within projects directed by the individual. **Experience Requirements** --------------------------- General Education: Industrial Technical Engineer or equivalent, preferably specializing in automation or related fields. Specific Education: Electricity, Mechanics, Robotics. Technical knowledge and experience in project management within the industry sector. Experience in problem resolution. 3–5 years of experience as a Project Manager or in other areas (Quality, Automation, etc.), with direct customer contact. Proficiency in Spanish and English communication.
