We are seeking a **Production Manager** to lead daily production activities, ensuring the correct **execution of manufacturing orders**, aligned with planning, available resources, and defined objectives.
The ideal candidate comes from a **production environment**, understands plant realities, has progressed into coordination or leadership roles, and leads in a **practical, hands-on, solution-oriented manner**. This person will be key to improving stability, team motivation, and operational efficiency within a dynamic environment.
**Your Responsibilities Will Include**

**Production Execution and Monitoring**
* Ensure correct **execution of manufacturing orders**, according to established planning.
* Guarantee achievement of **production targets, deadlines, and actual capacity**.
* Adapt daily execution to changes arising from customers, engineering, or management.
* Work in parallel and coordinate closely with **Planning, Quality, Processes, and Logistics**.
**Plant Supervision and Incident Resolution**
* Supervise assembly operations and production processes on the shop floor.
* Identify deviations in timing, quality, or resources and initiate corrective actions.
* Identify bottlenecks and propose practical, realistic solutions.
* Collaborate on improving and updating work instructions and checklists.
**People Management**
* Lead, support, and motivate the production team, fostering a safe, stable, and collaborative work environment.
* Manage team rotation, task distribution, and workload allocation.
* Facilitate integration of new hires on the shop floor.
* Promote clear, approachable, and respectful communication.
**KPI Monitoring and Reporting**
* Monitor **production KPIs** (planning compliance, efficiency, incidents).
* Analyze basic data (Excel, quality reports, checklists) to support decision-making.
* Communicate the **production status**, risks, and needs in a structured manner.
* Collaborate with Quality on analyzing data related to processes and equipment.
**Cross-functional Collaboration**
* Collaborate closely with **Processes, Planning, Quality, and Logistics**.
* Support the operational introduction of new products or process changes.
* Propose progressive improvements to work organization and production flow.
**Role Evolution**

* In the initial stage, the candidate will make daily operational decisions in coordination with their manager and relevant departments, ensuring proper production execution.
* Over time, they will develop the judgment required to independently assess various response alternatives to production, quality, or planning incidents.
* They will actively participate in decision-making alongside the team, promoting a collaborative, plant-experience-based approach.
* They will evaluate improvement ideas and proposals emerging from the team, driving forward those delivering real value to production processes.
* They will propose improvements to production methods, operational efficiency, and quality control systems.
* They will make decisions aimed at optimizing work organization and production flow, always aligned with internal procedures and company regulations.
* Within the medium term, they will act with greater autonomy as the operational reference on the shop floor, assuming practical and realistic decision-making responsibilities within the production domain.
**Requirements**
--------------
* Minimum **5 years of experience** leading industrial production environments (assembly, machining, assembly lines, discontinuous production).
* Demonstrable **experience coordinating or managing production teams**.
* **Technical education**:
+ **Higher Vocational Training (FP Grado Superior)** in industrial fields (Mechanics, Electricity, Electronics, Automation, or similar).
+ A Technical Engineering degree will be considered **provided there is hands-on plant experience and team management experience**.
* Ability to identify problems, communicate deviations, and propose solutions.
* Proficiency in **Excel** at user level for data analysis and monitoring.
* High adaptability in environments characterized by frequent change and shifting priorities.
* Experience using ERP systems at user level for queries and monitoring; **Dynamics 365 Business Central** is preferred.
**Preferred Qualifications**
* Progression from operational roles to leadership positions.
* Experience in continuous improvement, 5S, or Lean environments (not mandatory).
* Sensitivity toward workplace climate and team motivation.
* Ability to work autonomously with practical judgment.
