Position Summary: We are seeking a Fleet and Logistics Manager to lead the collection and traceability of healthcare waste, optimize routes, coordinate the team, and ensure regulatory compliance. We are looking for a fleet and logistics manager to lead a critical service in Sant Quirze del Vallès: the collection and traceability of healthcare waste. This role goes beyond simply dispatching routes; it involves continuously planning and optimizing routes for approximately 20 vehicles, maximizing fuel efficiency and transit times, and providing immediate responses to on-road incidents—such as breakdowns or delays—to ensure no facility remains unattended. The position involves coordinating and supervising the team of drivers and collection technicians, fostering a culture of responsibility and identifying training needs. Continuous training programs will also be organized in areas such as efficient driving, safety, and hazardous goods handling. Additionally, compliance with transport and healthcare/hazardous waste regulations must be guaranteed, ensuring full traceability through documentation control (consignment notes, DCS, tracking sheets, ADR regulations). You will represent the delegation at the center’s Health, Legislative, and Operational Committees. What Are We Looking For? * Experience: Minimum 3\-4 years managing transport fleets and leading teams of drivers/operatives. * Regulatory knowledge: Familiarity with road transport regulations (driving and rest times). * Soft skills: Strong yet empathetic leadership, high tolerance for operational stress, and negotiation skills for resolving conflicts with field personnel. * Residence: Proximity to Sant Quirze del Vallès or willingness to work 100% on-site at the facility.
