We are seeking a qualified Physiotherapist for the Sant Andreu de Manresa Residential Care Facility to carry out physical rehabilitation and maintenance for residents and to enhance the quality of care provided. 1. Responsibilities relating to residents, their families or designated representatives: \- Conduct initial physiotherapy assessments upon admission. \- Identify problems, establish goals, and define physiotherapy interventions in preventive, maintenance, and therapeutic aspects. \- Inform and involve the resident, their family members or designated representative regarding treatment goals, taking into account their individual capacities and needs related to human body functionality. \- Apply appropriate physiotherapy treatments and techniques, individually or in groups. \- Periodically review residents’ functional status. \- Prepare physiotherapy reports as requested, in accordance with professional practice and technical expertise. \- Collaborate with other professionals to maximize resident comfort. \- Ensure compliance with confidentiality standards for residents and respect for their right to privacy. \- Respect residents’ cultural customs and diversity. 2. Responsibilities relating to the interdisciplinary team: \- Participate as an integrated member of the interdisciplinary team in work sessions dedicated to developing and monitoring each resident’s individualized care plan, jointly establishing, through consensus with the resident or responsible party, goals aimed at maintaining or restoring functional autonomy. \- Participate in developing and periodically reviewing clinical protocols within the field of physiotherapy. \- Motivate care staff, jointly with other professionals, in functional recovery and activation initiatives for residents. \- Participate in preparing the center’s annual activity report and other studies or projects, providing data relevant to the physiotherapy domain. \- Develop and participate in research, teaching, and management projects in the field of physiotherapy. \- Participate in and contribute to staff training activities related to clinical practice. 3. Responsibilities relating to physiotherapy equipment: \- Periodically verify the suitability and proper functioning of furniture and devices used in delivering physiotherapy services. \- Ensure that new equipment and emerging technologies meet evolving resident needs. * Minimum 6 months’ experience. \- Experience working with older adults. \- Tasks related to rehabilitation and physiotherapy. * Degree in Physiotherapy. * Catalan (spoken: advanced; written: advanced). * Spanish (spoken: advanced; written: advanced). * Competencies / knowledge: \- Adaptability to new situations. \- Active listening. \- Empathy. \- Creativity. \- Observational skills. \- Analytical thinking. \- Organizational skills. \- Teamwork. \- Problem-solving ability. * Temporary employment contract (24 months). * Part-time schedule (90 hours per month). * Additional information of interest: Possibility of full-time employment.
