Job Summary: We are seeking a Fitting Mechanic / Field Service Technician to provide nationwide and international technical assistance to customers for industrial machinery, performing repairs, commissioning, and maintenance. Our client, an established company in the industrial packaging sector specializing in the design and manufacturing of industrial machinery, is looking to hire a Fitting Mechanic / Field Service Technician to deliver technical assistance to customers nationwide and occasionally internationally. If you are passionate about industrial machinery, technical interventions, and customer interaction, this could be an excellent opportunity for you. What will be your mission? You will join the Technical Assistance Service team, conducting on-site interventions at customers’ premises to ensure proper operation of industrial machinery. Main Responsibilities: * Mechanical and electromechanical repairs of industrial machinery. * Commissioning of machines and automated production lines. * Adjustments, testing, and functional verification. * Fault diagnosis and resolution. * Preventive and corrective maintenance. * Basic training for customer operators and technical staff. * Technical support for machinery adaptations and applications. * Preparation of technical reports after each intervention. Work Scope: * Regular travel to customers across Catalonia and the rest of Spain. * Very occasional international travel. * Willingness to stay overnight away from home as required by service needs. Requirements: * Technical education in electromechanics, industrial mechanics, industrial maintenance, or related fields. * Experience in assembly, maintenance, or field service of industrial machinery. * Knowledge of industrial mechanics, pneumatics, and electricity. * Ability to analyze and resolve faults. * Autonomous, responsible, and customer-oriented profile. * Willingness to travel. * Valid driver’s license (Class B). * Experience in the packaging sector. * English language skills (desirable). * Experience with automatic machinery and industrial environments.
