Country Spain Province Lugo \- Lugo Application Deadline 31/05/2026 Category Direct Support **Information about the NGO** Diaconia **Rating** (1 rating) **info** Response rate: 49.46% **info** **Objective** ------------ This technical role will perform key functions across two strategic intervention lines: **Project "Lives That Migrate":** Responsible for leading the psychosocial approach, ensuring integration of emotional and intercultural perspectives throughout all phases of the project cycle. Will lead participatory diagnosis and specialized intervention addressing migratory grief, identity, and resilience. **Project "Without Labels, Without Hate":** Responsible for direct intervention in cases of psychosocial and physical vulnerability among service users, ensuring comprehensive support oriented toward well-being and mental health. **Area: Migration** **Main Responsibilities:** Project "Without Labels, Without Hate" * Psychological support for victims of hate incidents and/or related forms of discrimination; psychosocial assessment and follow-up of project users. * Development of participatory strategies and resilience-building and recovery initiatives for potential victims; monitoring of peer support groups. * Emotional reception and accompaniment within the context of migratory grief. Project "Lives That Migrate" * Emotional reception and accompaniment within the context of migratory grief. * Provision of individualized and group psychosocial support to project beneficiaries. * Maintenance of a detailed record of interventions, emotional processes, and participants’ progress. * Referral and coordination with Mental Health, Psychiatry, or other specialized resources as needed. * Leading conceptual validation of the project’s psychosocial methodology. * Integration of intercultural and gender perspectives into psychosocial intervention. * Documentation and registration of participants’ emotional processes during intervention. * Supporting drafting of the project’s technical report and Methodological Guide by contributing psychosocial criteria and recommendations for replicability. **Profile:** * Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Psychology. * Mandatory: Master’s degree or official qualification in General Health Psychology. * Professional registration required. * Ability to analyze qualitative information, prepare reports, and design technical tools. * Minimum 2 years’ experience in direct intervention, psychosocial accompaniment, or community work with migrants or other vulnerable groups. **What We Offer:** * Temporary contract until 31/12/26 (with possibility of extension depending on funding) * Working hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00–17:00 * Workplace: Alcalde Ramiro Rueda, Lugo * Salary aligned with the Social Action and Intervention Collective Agreement, Group 1 *At Diaconía, we are committed to creating equitable, inclusive, and fair workplaces.
