Job Summary: We are seeking a picking operator for a food company, responsible for goods transportation, order management, pallet preparation and assembly, and quality control. Key Points: 1. Support in warehousing and food quality control We are looking for a person to fill the position of picking operator in a company within the food industry. Main responsibilities will include transporting goods using manual and electric pallet trucks to the preparation area. The role also involves receiving and managing orders via PVD terminals, weighing and distributing products into boxes according to instructions received, as well as order preparation and pallet assembly. Product labeling and pallet strapping in the dispatch area will form part of the duties. Support will be required in warehousing tasks and preparation within specific cold rooms, as well as waste management for cardboard and plastics. Visual inspection of products, process verification, and identification of incidents—ensuring food quality and safety—will be critical aspects. Working hours will be full-time, 40 hours per week, from Sunday to Friday, on the afternoon shift, with legally mandated breaks. * Minimum one year’s prior experience performing identical or similar tasks as described. * We seek a proactive and responsible individual. * Proximity of residence to the workplace is desirable. * Availability to work in cool environments with positive cold temperatures. * Valid driving license category B and personal vehicle for commuting to the workplace. * Completed compulsory secondary education (ESO) or equivalent. \- Valid theoretical-practical forklift operator certificate.
