A young and well-trained workforce, equipped with the most modern technological and commercial resources, and a customer-focused multi-brand and multi-channel organization enable **Banco Sabadell** to hold a prominent position in the personal and corporate banking market. **Reference:** **37337** **Location:** **Spain \> Barcelona \> Sant Cugat del Vallés** **Multi-location possibility: No** (1\) **What are we looking for?** -------------------------- * We are currently seeking an analytical profile with a high degree of attention to detail and rigor, who demonstrates initiative and proactivity to achieve common goals and problem-solving skills, being self-demanding and organized, to join the Scenario Projection team within the Financial Margin Analysis Unit of the Group. **Let's talk about the project...** ---------------------------- * Your main mission will focus on participating in the development of the Stress Test exercise related to Banco Sabadell Group's interest margin, contributing to the design and improvement of data extraction and provisioning processes, analyzing the reasonableness of the results obtained, as well as their interpretation. * Among your main responsibilities will be: + Design, develop, and review procedures using SQL, Visual Basic, and SAS to optimize processes and ensure data quality. + Implement and interpret regulatory methodologies related to interest margin projections in Stress Test exercises. + Perform interest margin projections under various Stress scenarios, as well as analyze the resulting outcomes. + Conduct causal analyses of the actual interest margin evolution, as well as deviations in projections across each of the scenarios used. + Use and maintain ALM tools, both internal and external (Ambit Focus). **What do we value in your application?** ------------------------------------- * Higher education (Bachelor’s or equivalent) in Economics, Business Administration, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, or similar fields. * Certifications such as CEFA, FRM, CFA, or an equivalent Master’s degree will be positively considered. * Minimum of 2\-3 years of experience in similar roles/functions (Scenario Projection, Stress Testing, Financial Margin) within the banking sector. * Advanced proficiency in Excel and SQL, and strong programming skills in Visual Basic, SQL, and ORACLE, as well as database management. * Knowledge of risk management or ALM tools (such as Ambit Focus, Bancware, or equivalent) will be valued positively. * Familiarity with accounting regulations for credit institutions and knowledge of FINREP financial reports will be an advantage. * Demonstrable English language proficiency at B2 level or higher.
