Country Spain Province El Vendrell \- Tarragona Application Deadline 09/04/2026 Category Direct Care Type of Offer Targeted at people with disabilities **Create Alert** **NGO Information** Federació Salut Mental Catalunya **Rating** (0 ratings) **info** Response rate: 81.67% **info** **Objective** ------------ SMC is seeking a Psychological and Emotional Support Technician for a 25-hour/week position in El Vendrell. **MISSION OF THE POSITION** Within the Psychoeducational Support Program, the Socio-Community Intervention Project will be implemented with the aim of providing tools and resources to improve emotional management and promote self-care among individuals experiencing mental health issues or emotional distress. **JOB DESCRIPTION** Psychological support aims to carry out interventions that contribute to promoting autonomy and well-being of service users, based on the recovery model, empowerment promotion, and mutual support, while collaborating with volunteers who have personal experience in mental health. **Main Functions and Responsibilities:** * Providing psychological support to service users * Coordination with referring professionals and others * Coordination with volunteers involved in the project * Follow-up for individuals facing greater complexity * Development of individualized work plans and monitoring their implementation * Active participation in meetings related to the service * Data base management and maintenance, ensuring compliance with data protection legislation * Coordination with other SMC projects and services to enhance impact and sustainability of participating projects * Drafting and supporting preparation of required technical reports * Staying up-to-date with sector developments and the state of mental health in Catalonia, and conveying this knowledge to the organization * Contributing to achieving SMC’s overall objectives * Participation in SMC’s internal working and reflective spaces **EMPLOYMENT CONDITIONS:** * Temporary contract with potential continuity until stability can be offered, subject to funding availability. * Part-time schedule of 25 hours per week, flexibly distributed Monday through Friday. * Gross annual salary of €27,000 for full-time, equivalent to €16,875 for 25 hours. * Work location and territorial scope: El Vendrell * Start date: September 1st. **Profile:** **PERSONAL AND PROFESSIONAL PROFILE AND COMPETENCIES** * Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology (Mandatory), and Master’s Degree in Community Social Psychology or General Health Psychology. * Minimum one year of professional experience in similar roles: psychological support for individuals with mental health issues and collaboration with mental health volunteers. * Demonstrable expert knowledge in therapeutic care within the social domain or other relevant fields. * Languages: Catalan at level C * Desirable: demonstrable expert knowledge in mental health: recovery model, empowerment, mutual support, rights, etc. * Desirable: familiarity with the functioning of third-sector organizations and associative networks. * Results-oriented and flexible individual. With sensitivity, social awareness, and strong capacity to understand the realities of diverse groups connected to the field of mental health. * Service-oriented individual with ability to build trusting relationships with diverse people and environments * Individual with positive and proactive attitude, committed to continuous improvement.
