Grupo Clave is seeking a Quality Manager to join a company in the food industry. The selected candidate will be responsible for leading the Quality Department, ensuring compliance with food safety standards, regulatory requirements, and certification systems, while promoting a culture of continuous improvement across the organization.
### **Key Responsibilities**
* Implement, maintain, and improve the Quality and Food Safety Management System, ensuring compliance with standards such as HACCP, IFS, and MSC.
* Keep records, procedures, and documentation associated with the management system up to date.
* Lead and coordinate the HACCP team, driving the identification, assessment, and control of food safety-related risks.
* Actively participate in crisis management, Food Defense, and Food Fraud teams, collaborating on the development, review, and monitoring of corresponding action plans.
* Manage incidents, complaints, and non-conformities, defining and implementing effective corrective and preventive actions.
* Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, official bodies, and certification entities during audits, inspections, and internal and external certification processes.
* Coordinate, supervise, and develop the Quality team, fostering commitment to operational excellence and continuous improvement.
* Ensure compliance with current legislation applicable to the food industry and refrigerated storage activities.
* Design and deliver staff training on hygiene, food handling, food safety, and good practices.
* Coordinate occupational risk prevention matters with the External Prevention Service, collaborating in the implementation of preventive measures.
### **Required Profile**
* University degree in Food Science and Technology, Veterinary Science, Biology, Chemistry, Agri-Food Engineering, or related fields.
* Prior experience in managerial roles within Quality and Food Safety departments in food industry companies.
* Experience in food safety audits and certifications, particularly IFS, BRC, or ISO 22000\.
* Solid knowledge of food legislation, allergen management, labeling, and self-control systems.
* Ability to manage quality systems, audits, and continuous improvement processes.
* Experience with ERP systems—especially LIBRA—is desirable.
* Leadership, organizational, planning, and team management capabilities.
* Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills when engaging with customers and external bodies.
