If you're looking for your next challenge, this is your opportunity: JOB SCOPE: The maintenance technician is responsible for repairing and maintaining equipment and facilities within the production environment, including motorized conveyors, automated stations, robotic stations, pneumatic components, electrical cabinets, safety systems, pneumatic tools, electric tools, and steam equipment. * Perform production equipment maintenance according to internal safety standards. * Carry out emergency and unscheduled repairs on production equipment. * Diagnose process and machinery issues using root cause analysis techniques; replace or repair equipment parts and conduct tests and adjustments as required. * Propose and implement improvements to production equipment and assets to increase their availability and durability. Essential responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following: Observe the operation of production equipment and facilities, diagnose faults, and perform repairs. Read and interpret equipment manuals, schematics, assembly drawings, and work orders to carry out required maintenance and servicing. Perform authorized modifications to machinery and equipment to meet production requirements. Lubricate and clean parts. Start up equipment and devices to verify performance. Set up and operate lathes, drills, grinders, welders, and other metalworking tools to fabricate or repair parts. Maintain, install, and repair electrical equipment. Carry out preventive maintenance work orders on equipment and tools. Program PLCs and use PLC logic to troubleshoot equipment issues. Perform minor modifications to ABB robots (valuable and beneficial knowledge). Install new machinery and equipment. Comply with all company policies and procedures. Adhere to safety regulations and maintain clean, orderly work areas to ensure a safe working environment. Perform lockout/tagout procedures for defective equipment or tools. Fabricate certified devices for use in production.
