PROJECT PENDING APPROVAL The City Council plans to temporarily hire two people as Second-Class Construction Officials under LOCAL EMPLOYMENT PLANS, aiming to reinforce the Municipal Brigade in response to increased maintenance and conservation needs for municipal facilities, buildings, and public spaces. Participation in employment plans aims to train workers in occupation-specific competencies, as well as generic professional skills such as: work habits, punctuality, commitment to doing work well, responsibility, adherence to schedules, teamwork, etc., in addition to the professional capabilities required for the specific occupation and the tasks they may perform. This service will in no case replace municipal brigade operatives but will complement the team and carry out a specific task. Hired personnel will support Municipal Brigade officials in construction and maintenance tasks, including: - Performing masonry work on municipal buildings and facilities. - Repairing pavements, sidewalks, walls, stairs, and other structural elements. - Maintaining and conserving public roads and urban furniture. - Repairing damages in educational centers, sports facilities, administrative buildings, and other municipal premises. - Collaborating in the adaptation of public spaces and green areas when necessary. - Supporting the assembly and disassembly of elements related to municipal activities. - Using hand tools and light machinery, complying with occupational risk prevention regulations. - Any other task related to their professional category that contributes to the proper functioning of the service. * Minimum 12 months of experience; experience in the sector is valued. * Completed primary education. * Catalan (spoken: advanced, written: advanced). * Spanish (spoken: advanced, written: advanced). * Competencies / knowledge: Teamwork ability — high level; Autonomous work ability — high level; Work organization ability. * Availability of personal vehicle. * Driving license: B. * Temporary employment contract (6 months). * Full-time schedule. * Gross monthly salary ranging from '1200' to '1300'. * Other relevant information: Work teams will receive assignments from the Department of Services regarding tasks to be performed. Working hours will fall within either the 7:00–14:00 or 8:00–15:00 time slot — as established by the responsible department — Monday through Friday, totaling 35 weekly hours per person. Hired personnel will support Municipal Brigade officials in construction and maintenance tasks.
