A close-knit culture, agile decision-making, and a collaborative environment. **Description:** ---------------- At Grup Carles, we are collaborating with an industrial company in the food packaging sector—strongly present nationally and internationally—to find a Supply Chain Manager to join their team. If you are a strategic thinker, results-oriented, and experienced in production environments, this could be your opportunity! **What will you do on a day-to-day basis?** * Reporting to the Operations Director, you will be responsible for leading the supply chain, ensuring its efficiency and alignment with business objectives. * Plan raw material procurement according to production needs and demand forecasts. * Coordinate production planning, ensuring operational feasibility and on-time delivery. * Define and optimize stock policies and inventory management. * Supervise logistics operations (receiving, storage, and dispatch). * Manage and negotiate with suppliers, including supplier qualification and performance monitoring. * Monitor and optimize logistics and procurement costs. * Prepare and track the department’s budget. * Define, implement, and monitor key KPIs (service level, inventory, costs, etc.). * Identify supply chain risks and propose action plans. * Lead and develop your team across purchasing, warehousing, and production planning (20 people). * Ensure compliance with quality, traceability, and food safety regulations. * Serve as the plant’s liaison in the Group’s strategic procurement processes, ensuring proper alignment with corporate directives and local operational needs. **What do we offer?** * Join a family-owned company undergoing significant growth and professionalization, where you can make a real impact on the organization. * A long-term project with genuine development potential, designed for individuals eager to grow and take on new challenges in the short and medium term. * Participation in international projects coordinated with other Group plants, combined with high-impact local challenges. * The opportunity to drive improvements, optimize processes, and implement tangible changes across the supply chain. * A work environment characterized by a close-knit, accessible culture, where decisions are made swiftly and people truly matter. * A positive, collaborative, and goal-oriented working atmosphere. * A dynamic context with a demanding pace—ideal for individuals who thrive in active, challenge-driven environments. * An annual gross salary of approximately €55,000–€65,000, negotiable based on professional experience. **Requirements:** --------------- **What are we looking for in you?** * University degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Industrial Organization, or a related field. * Minimum 5 years’ experience in Supply Chain within an industrial environment; experience in the plastic or food sectors is highly valued. * Experience managing teams and budgets. * A leadership-oriented individual with a global perspective, comfortable working cross-functionally across different departments. * Results-driven and committed to continuous improvement; analytical and solution-oriented. * Advanced English proficiency (C1). * Knowledge of ERP, MRP, and inventory management systems.
