Research and Development Technician **Job Title:** Research and Development Technician **Location:** Sant Cugat del Vallès **Work Arrangement:** On-site Responsibilities Develop new products, formulations, and reformulations using raw materials from the company's portfolio. Conduct laboratory tests for product development, applications, and quality control. Identify, analyze, and evaluate new raw materials and represented products. Prepare samples and coordinate, when necessary, analyses performed by external laboratories. Provide support in the industrialization of private-label products, collaborating with Supply Chain, Operations, and contract manufacturers. Prepare and maintain technical documentation for developments (technical data sheets, application guides, analysis certificates, labels, and test protocols). Provide technical support to the Commercial Department through reports, comparative analyses, responding to inquiries, and accompanying customers when required. Collaborate with represented companies and various internal departments to develop technical solutions and expand knowledge of the portfolio. Participate in trainings, seminars, and technical workshops for customers and internal teams. Manage the laboratory, ensuring proper operation of facilities, equipment, materials, and compliance with established procedures. Requirements **Academic Qualification:** Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in Chemistry **Additional Training:** Formulation and/or manufacturing of Construction and Paint products **Specific Knowledge:** Additives for Construction and Paints **Languages:** English: B1–B2 (Preferred) **Computer Skills:** Microsoft Office (intermediate level) **Professional Experience:** 3 years in a similar position.
