We are currently seeking a **Process Engineering and Continuous Improvement MANAGER**, who will join our **Engineering Department**.
### **YOUR MISSION:**
Lead the design, development, implementation, validation, and continuous improvement of industrial processes throughout their entire lifecycle, ensuring they are robust, scalable, efficient, and repeatable—by collaborating concurrently with R\+D during new product development and subsequently leading the evolution of transferred industrial processes, while guaranteeing compliance with Quality, Safety, Environmental, Occupational Risk Prevention requirements, applicable regulations for Medical Devices, and organizational standards.
### **FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:**
**Department Management:**
* Lead the Process Engineering and Continuous Improvement Department, including team development, coordination, and performance evaluation.
* Define the Department’s Strategic Plan, aligning it with organizational objectives.
* Manage assigned human, technical, and financial resources and budget.
* Prioritize and supervise the project portfolio.
* Define, monitor, and track Department KPIs.
* Promote a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence across the organization.
**Product/Process Transfer from R\+D to Industrialization:**
* Participate from the early stages of new product development as part of the multidisciplinary team alongside R\+D.
* Design, develop, and implement industrial processes concurrently with product development, defining production flow, resources, technology, facilities, methods, and cycle times.
* Ensure processes are robust, repeatable, scalable, efficient, and verifiable.
* Define technical requirements for new facilities, equipment, and tooling, participating in industrial CAPEX planning.
* Lead the implementation, validation, and transfer of industrial processes to Production.
**Industrialization Strategy:**
* Define, together with Operations, the industrial strategy and capabilities required for organizational growth.
* Define the area’s technology roadmap, identifying and evaluating new technologies, processes, and automation/digitalization solutions in collaboration with R\+D and Operations.
* Promote the adoption of new technologies to enhance competitiveness, efficiency, and sustainability of industrial processes.
* Lead the industrialization of new processes, ensuring adherence to defined timelines, costs, and objectives.
**Industrial Process Lifecycle Management** (Once the process is transferred):
* Analyze process performance to identify improvement opportunities and ensure stability, repeatability, and future scalability.
* Validate process modifications prior to implementation in production.
* Ensure updating and traceability of associated technical documentation (Process Technical Dossier).
* Guarantee compliance with Quality, Safety, Environmental, Occupational Risk Prevention requirements, and applicable regulations throughout the process lifecycle.
**Continuous Improvement** (Once the product/process is transferred, provide support to Operations in):
* Increasing productivity and improving operational efficiency (OEE).
* Reducing costs, waste, cycle times, and process variability.
* Driving process automation, digitalization, and simplification.
* Enhancing the quality, robustness, and reliability of industrial processes.
* Reducing operational risks and ensuring the sustainability of implemented improvements.
**Requirements:**

**DESIRED PROFILE:**
* Education: Higher Technical Engineering Degree (Industrial, Electronics, Mechanical, Mechatronics or similar)
* Experience: Minimum 10 years of proven experience in similar Process Engineering roles within industrial environments (Automotive sector preferred)
* Personal Skills: Excellent technical aptitude (problem-solver with validated DMAIC\-PDCA methodology).Knowledge of process-related standards.Experience in industrial process design and simulation.Professional working knowledge of process engineering software packages.CAD skills.Familiarity with health and safety regulations.Green Belt Six Sigma certification.Capacity for multidisciplinary teamwork, analytical thinking, creativity, integrity, cooperative spirit, and communication skills.Goal-oriented, persuasive, self-confident, and especially focused on objective- and results-based critical evaluation.Accustomed to finding ingenious solutions to problems. Strong capacity for autonomous learning of new skills.
