In Terrassa, we need a person to ensure that raw materials and components supplied meet quality standards, technical specifications, and regulatory requirements. This is a proactive role combining technical inspection with supplier management. Technical Profile and Education * Education: Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Materials Engineering or related field (Bachelor’s or Master’s degree). Technical higher vocational training programs are often valued. HIGH LEVEL OF KNOWLEDGE IN PLASTIC MATERIALS * Industrial Knowledge: Drawing interpretation, metrology, manufacturing processes (plastic injection, machining, welding, casting). * Core Tools (Automotive/Industrial): Familiarity with APQP, PPAP, FMEA (Failure Mode and Effects Analysis), SPC (Statistical Process Control), and MSA. * Standards: Knowledge of quality standards such as ISO 9001 or IATF 16949\. * Languages: English at B2/C1 level for communication with international suppliers. Competencies and Skills * Technical Judgment: Ability to detect deviations and assess risks in materials. * Communication and Negotiation: Strong relationship with suppliers to resolve conflicts and improve quality. * Proactivity and Organization: Ability to work autonomously and manage multiple projects. * Results Orientation: Focus on continuous improvement and adherence to production deadlines.
