REFRIGERATION PRODUCT ENGINEER

Description

Workplace Terrassa (Barcelona), occasional travel required (to headquarters in Germany or to customers). Mission Participate in the development, improvement, and validation of industrial equipment, contributing to refrigeration design, component selection, testing, control systems, technical support, and product customization. Reports to R\&D Manager. Responsibilities Participate in product development, improvement, and industrialization projects. Collaborate in the selection and evaluation of refrigeration components. Plan and conduct laboratory and production tests and validations. Participate in resolving technical issues, provide support to the Service department, and develop product customizations. Collaborate in controller and control system parameterization, basic programming, and commissioning. Prepare product technical documentation and collaborate with Production, Quality, Procurement, and Service departments. Experience Approximately 3\-5 years of experience in Product Engineering is preferred. Experience in product development, refrigeration, thermal equipment, or similar industrial sectors is valued, though not mandatory if a strong technical foundation and motivation to grow in this field are demonstrated. Basic knowledge of industrial controller or control system programming and parameterization is valued. Technical analysis and problem-solving capability. Interest in product development, testing, and technical service. Education Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Energy Engineering, or related field. Languages Technical English proficiency (sufficient to hold conversations with headquarters in Germany). Ability to maintain a conversation.
