




Job Summary: We are seeking a Cook for a residential care center, responsible for preparing menus according to health guidelines, organizing the kitchen, and supervising maintenance. Food management and control, and their proper distribution We are looking for a **COOK** for a residential care center located in Vilafranca del Penedès. The **MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES** include: * Preparing menus as specified, always adhering to written instructions provided by the health or nutrition department. * Coordinating kitchen staff to assemble meal carts with prepared dishes. * Adjusting portion quantities as prescribed by medical staff. * Submitting and processing orders. * Organizing, supervising, and controlling cleanliness, maintenance, and order in facilities, equipment, and utensils. * Daily monitoring of food storage conditions in refrigerated chambers and storerooms, and ensuring proper distribution. Full-time position (40 hours per week). * Extended week (Monday, Wednesday, Saturday): 07:30–15:00 (break from 10:25 to 11:00\) and 16:00–20:00 (break from 17:30 to 18:00\) \+ (Sunday) 08:00–15:00 (break from 10:25 to 11:00\) and 16:00–20:30 (break from 17:30 to 18:00\). * Short week (Tuesday, Thursday): 07:30–15:00 (break from 10:25 to 11:00\) and 16:00–20:00 (break from 17:30 to 18:00\) \+ (Friday) 08:00–15:00 (break from 10:25 to 11:00\) and 16:00–20:30 (break from 17:30 to 18:00 Temporary contract (substituting for a sick leave), with potential conversion to permanent.
