Sevilla Delivery Senior One of the keys to our technological solutions is having agile teams that uphold good practices and methodologies. That's why our Agile team applies agile practices such as Scrum or Kanban across all our digital products and projects, enabling our teams to deliver better services to companies like Mutua Madrileña, HP, Mapfre, Meliá, among others. "At Emergya, we step out of our comfort zone. Our Scrum Masters don't work exclusively on one type of solution or team; instead, they collaborate on diverse digital products and different team topologies. You'll continuously learn about various types of solutions, adapt agile practices to them, experiment, test, inspect, and work closely with the Scrum Masters team, building a common framework for the company." This is what Pilar Amores, Agile Coach, tells us. Therefore, we're looking for proactive, dynamic individuals eager to join this great team, who will help safeguard the methodology and demonstrate common sense. At Emergya, we invest in people. We believe in their talent, ideas, commitment, and attitude. We strive to create a close-knit work environment where communication flows transparently. Would you like to know what your day-to-day will look like? Here are some tasks you'll carry out: Facilitate and support team members so they can work in a self-managing way, with commitment, team spirit, and awareness, which is essential. Ensure the team understands the Scrum process before applying it. Be responsible for upholding the working methodology. Remove any impediments the team encounters in achieving its final goals. Mentor the Product Owner in their responsibilities, if necessary, ensuring the product backlog is properly refined and prioritized, preparing it for the next sprint. As a Scrum Master, you'll be responsible for facilitating the various Scrum events: daily meetings, sprint planning, sprint review, and sprint retrospective. Gather appropriate metrics to show team progress, capacity, and address potential pain points. Act as a safeguard for the team, promoting focus. Facilitate decision-making sessions and processes to ensure rapid inspection and proper use of adaptation processes. Collect retrospectives and improvements for future projects. Collaborate with the rest of the organization's Scrum Masters, staying in contact, sharing learnings and best practices, fostering continuous improvement within the company. You'll work hand-in-hand with the Product Owner and a highly horizontal, multidisciplinary development team (backends, front\-end developers, linguists, UX designers, QAs, etc.), characterized by smooth and fresh communication, where feeling comfortable at work is a top priority. You're probably wondering what kind of projects you'll carry out these responsibilities in… well, that's the best part! Your day-to-day will involve scalable and resilient platforms, voice and text virtual assistants, AI-based prediction models, ML recommendation engines, and other digital transformation solutions for major companies such as Mutua Madrileña, Iberdrola, Naturgy, Mapfre, or Verisure. All of this within a team known for its outstanding attitude, composed of multidisciplinary roles offering creative solutions to unconventional tasks. You'll work alongside people accustomed to collaborating and sharing information, capable of defending their ideas with a constructive perspective, and unafraid to learn from both mistakes and successes.
