We are looking for an **Occupational Health and Safety Technician** or Health and Safety Technician whose responsibilities will be: Common duties: * Conduct inspections at assigned sites to verify and promote compliance with specific risk assessments (DGPO) and preventive planning/Safety and Health Plan. * Draft PSS/DGPO documents and update them when necessary by preparing annexes due to changes in execution procedures, auxiliary means, and work equipment. * Issue reports on deficiencies and deviations found during each inspection and propose corrective and preventive measures to the site team leaders, including deadlines for correction. * Provide preventive advice on legal PRL requirements and internal preventive procedures to company staff within their area of responsibility. * Collect suggestions from employees at assigned sites and forward them to the SIG Manager. * Promote safety and health through training sessions, informational meetings, and induction talks. * Foster a preventive and environmental culture among company personnel. * Manage, deliver, and verify PRL documentation required on-site; opening of workplace, subcontracting book, minutes of coordination meetings S&S, … * Prepare reports proposing internal sanctions for non-compliance with legal and/or internal regulations, including immediate disciplinary actions such as expulsion from work sites. * Investigate and analyze work-related accidents/incidents occurring at their assigned sites. * Gather necessary data to complete statistical tables (KPIs) for each project. * Handle requests from Labor Authorities. * Know and comply with procedures within their area and risk assessments related to their position. As a technician assigned to over 50% site work: * Promote and attend Safety and Health meetings together with the project team, subcontractors, and Coordinator (CSSFE). * Support the project team in tasks related to monitoring and supervising the implementation of prevention management in the project. * Record detected S&S incidents and resolve them via the Risk Control Register document, which will be communicated to site team leaders (JO and foreman) for awareness and decision-making. * Report unresolved issues with the site team to their supervisor and immediately inform about work stoppages due to non-compliance with PSs/DGPO measures. * Apply the company's values—Transparency, Innovation, Respect, Honesty, Integrity, Passion—in daily activities. **Desirable Requirements:** * Higher Technical Certificate / Level II in Technical Architecture or Civil Engineering, Public Works, or Roads, Canals, and Ports. Must provide a Master’s Degree in Occupational Risk Prevention. * Minimum 3 years of prior experience in construction or similar sectors (Industry), or experience in External Prevention Services. * Knowledge of Quality Management System tools.
