Expert mastery of Agile methodologies and project management ### **Job Information** Date Opened **02/19/2026**Job Type **Permanent**Industry **Technology**Work Experience **5\+ years**City **Madrid**State/Province **Madrid**Country **Spain**Zip/Postal Code **28001**### **Job Description** At **ALOVIA**, we are looking for a **Java Developer (Architecture/Payment Instruments)** for our Madrid team. **Work modality:** 3 days per month at the Madrid office. **Responsibilities** * Lead the **global and specialized vision** of **Payment Instruments (Issuance)**, acting as the functional and technical reference point for **card authorization processes**. * Manage **high-level communication** with **business and technology areas** to gather requirements and define new functionalities. * Perform **in-depth and detailed analysis** of the technical capabilities required for the evolution of the **Core Banking** system (Loans, Deposits, and Cards). * Ensure strict adherence to the **Secure Software Development Lifecycle (S\-SDLC)** across all area deliverables. * Lead program execution using **Agile methodology**, ensuring correct use of tools, processes, and frameworks. * Define and oversee **operational methodology, metrics, and KPIs** to ensure payment system efficiency. * Coordinate projects across **multiple geographies**, collaborating with remote teams and ensuring alignment with global objectives. ### **Requirements** * **Solid experience** in the **Payment Instruments (Issuance)** ecosystem and expert knowledge of **authorization processes**. * In-depth knowledge of **Core Banking** modules and strong analytical capability for development under **client-facing banking architectures**. * Expert mastery of **Agile methodologies** and results- and metrics-driven project management. * Excellent **communication and stakeholder engagement skills**, both with technical and functional stakeholders. * **Results-oriented mindset**, with adaptability to evolving environments and working methods. * Prior experience in **international projects** and managing teams in distributed settings. * A **highly motivated individual**, with a strong team spirit and **flexible availability** to support multi-geographic coordination. ### **Benefits** **Why ALOVIA?** At ALOVIA, you will join an international team specializing in IT projects and software development.
