The BISC \- Barcelona International Sailing Center \- is a sports facility dedicated to nautical sports, located at Port Fòrum (Sant Adrià del Besòs). Due to the nature of the center, an integrated sports-oriented catering and accommodation service is provided. Additionally, competitions and possible catering services or small events related to sporting activities are organized. We are seeking a kitchen assistant for our facilities who demonstrates a positive attitude and ability to work effectively as part of a team. An organized, responsible individual with basic kitchen experience or formal training in hospitality is required. Our kitchen operates with clear processes, a concise menu, and structured organization—designed to function efficiently with a small, cohesive team. REPORTING STRUCTURE Reports periodically to the designated supervisor. RESPONSIBILITIES Support in food preparation and cooking tasks, following established instructions and procedures. Set-up for breakfast, lunch, and dinner services. Maintain order and cleanliness in the work area and of all utensils. Coordinate closely with other kitchen staff. Comply with food hygiene and safety regulations. * Experience: 4 years. EXPERIENCE Hospitality industry experience, specifically in collective catering. Basic knowledge and training in Mediterranean cuisine. Minimum 2 years’ experience as a kitchen assistant. * EDUCATION: Incomplete primary education * Catalan (spoken: advanced, written: advanced) * Spanish (spoken: advanced, written: advanced) * Competencies / Knowledge: TRAINING Hospitality studies. Food Handling Certificate (mandatory). LANGUAGES Fluency in Catalan and Spanish, both spoken and written. * Driving license: B\+E * Permanent employment contract * Full-time position * Additional relevant information: SALARY RANGE According to candidate’s experience.
