Currently, we have a team of experts across various fields of aquatic ecology, delivering consultancy services to a broad range of clients from both the private and public sectors. We emphasize the high technical qualification of all our staff to provide comprehensive services to our clients. We operate an in-house laboratory accredited by ENAC according to ISO/IEC 17025 standards, enabling us to assess the status of all quality indicators in aquatic ecosystems (biological, physicochemical, and hydromorphological). To expand our team of specialists, we are seeking a **Macrophyte Specialist**, whose primary responsibilities will include: * Biological sampling in rivers and lakes (macrophytes). * Determination of macrophyte indices according to the MITERD protocol. * Support during sampling in rivers, lakes, and reservoirs across various projects. * Collaboration in drafting consultancy reports for diverse clients, both public and private. * Support to project managers in project management. **Requirements** * Minimum **3 years’ experience** in macrophyte identification and assessment. * University degree, Master’s, or PhD in Sciences or any discipline related to Aquatic Ecology or Plant Biology. * Valid Class B driver’s license and willingness to drive to various work sites. * Ability to meet the functional requirements necessary to perform the duties of the position (to be assessed at the start of employment via medical examination). * The following will be considered highly desirable: * Experience in preparing technical reports and managing projects. * Proficiency in GIS software and R. **Additional Information** **About AECOM** AECOM is the world’s trusted infrastructure consulting firm, offering professional services across the project lifecycle—from advisory, planning, design, and engineering to program and construction management.
