Substitute Geriatric Care Assistant - Day Center

Intress needs to hire a **Geriatric Care Assistant** to cover a temporary substitution from November 3rd to December 5th at our **Day Center** for elderly people located in **Andratx, Mallorca.** The selected candidate will be responsible for assisting and supporting users in performing daily basic activities, providing personal care that facilitates their recovery process and maintenance of personal autonomy, as well as transporting center users. ***What will your responsibilities be?*** * **Assist users in carrying out daily living activities** they cannot perform independently, aiming to improve their experience at the center. * **Support the technical team's assistance, educational, recreational, or functional rehabilitation work** to provide comprehensive service to center users. * **Maintain personal hygiene** of users. * **Provide and administer food** to users who require it due to their condition. * **Collaborate with healthcare staff** in medication administration. * **Work together with the technical team** in organizing and carrying out activities and tasks to enhance daily life at the center and maintain users' physical, functional, and psychological abilities. * **Pick up and transport users** from their homes to care centers and vice versa, as well as to other locations necessary for center activities. ***What do we offer?*** * **Start date:** 11/03/2025 * **End date:** 12/05/2025 * **Contract type:** Temporary - Substitute * **Working hours:** 40 hours per week * **Schedule:** Monday to Friday, rotating morning and afternoon shifts (between 08:00 and 18:00) * **Salary:** 1,444.33 € gross monthly x 14 payments * **You will become part of an organization actively involved in social services, where we believe in the integration of people in vulnerable situations.** ***What do we expect from you?*** **Required education:** * Intermediate Vocational Training in Nursing Auxiliary Care or equivalent qualifications * Class B driver's license **Required professional experience:** * 6 months of experience in elderly care **Other valued aspects:** * Flexible availability * Residence near workplace * We highly value willingness and enthusiasm to create a positive working environment at Intress! **If this is the opportunity you've been waiting for, don't hesitate—apply now!
